Job Responsibilities:
As a software engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding business requirements and providing appropriate suggestions for software solutions.
- Preparing and reviewing test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of testing activities.
- Developing test cases, test scripts, and test data for manual and automated testing.
- Executing tests, both manual and automated, to validate software functionality.
- Reporting defects with clarity and assisting in their understanding and resolution.
- Analyzing test results and deriving appropriate metrics to measure the success/failure of test cases.
- Preparing and presenting test reports with clear details and actionable insights.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior software engineers.
- Contributing ideas for process and product improvement.
- Communicating effectively with all responsible teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualification required:
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- Successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree, or have an appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred skills:
We value the following skills and qualifications in our candidates:
- Familiarity with Agile processes and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools for efficient defect management.
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the travel domain (desirable).
- Familiarity with XML and SQL (desirable).
- ISTQB certification (desirable).
- Knowledge of any automation tool or performance tool would be an added advantage.

- Online Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online assessment to evaluate their technical knowledge and skills.
- Technical Interviews: Candidates who pass the assessment will be invited for technical interviews to assess their capabilities and fit for the role.
- HR Interview: The final stage involves an interview with our HR team to discuss the candidate’s overall suitability for the position.
- Final Selection: Based on the evaluation from all stages, the final selection will be made.
