IBM Recruitment Job Responsibilities:
- Implement new features for specific components of Db2 databases on the z/OS platform.
- Deliver fixes to customer-reported problems following the APAR (Authorized Program Analysis Report) process.
- Create unit tests and functional-level test cases to ensure code changes meet business requirements.
- Automate test cases and add them to regression test buckets.
- Efficiently manage defects backlog and APAR backlog to meet target dates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the build and infrastructure team, system test team, and performance test team, to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Provide documentation and training to the organization as needed.
IBM Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
- MCA/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or IS.
- Percentile: 70% or 7.00 CGPA.
- No active backlog.
- Year of Passing: 2024.
IBM Recruitment Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in React, Redux, Node.JS, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
- Skills with test tools such as Jest, Cypress, Codecept.
- Knowledge of building API-driven interfaces.
- Familiarity with API testing and API automation.
- Knowledge of test automation development using Ansible and Python.
- Experience working with GitHub as a source code control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of any cloud services, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience in DevOps.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with Linux systems.
