Qualifications

• B-Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a similar domain
• 0 to 1 year of experience in SAP MM or PP modules

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in SAP MM & PP modules
• Strong engineering background
• Excellent drawing reading skills
• Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM software
• Good product knowledge (Mechanical & Electrical properties)
• Knowledge of routing, work center, and product costing in SAP Production Planning module
• Basic knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Regulations (REACH or RoHS directives) and different chemical compositions
• Proficiency in MS-Office Applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• VBA/Macro scripting skills (added advantage)
• Python scripting knowledge with NumPy and Pandas libraries (highly advantageous)
• Effective technical communication and interaction skills
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts and provide innovative solutions
• Understanding of the product development process
• Self-driven and quick learner
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills using systematic tools (8D, fishbone, cause/effect diagrams)
• Alignment with PBM principles

Skills Required

• Material Master Creation: Responsible for creating Material Master for different material types in SAP.
• Collaboration: Work closely with plants to ensure the completion of Material Master, BOM & Compliance activities in SAP.
• Technical Analysis: Read and analyze NX CAD drawings/models and load Engineering/Universal Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP.
• Interaction: Interact significantly with Data Stewards, Industrial Engineers, and stakeholders across Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Project Management: Plan, prioritize, solve problems, report progress, execute project objectives, and meet deadlines.
• Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality and delivery of outputs and implement process corrections if necessary.
• Auditing: Audit parts in SAP for completeness of material status and product compliance documents.
• Data Management: Mass load data into SAP using LSMW, Batch processing, VBA/Macros, etc.
