Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for constructing a product focusing on Customer Onboarding, Customer Performance Management, Risk Monitoring, and Transaction Monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop application logic for a multi-component system of applications.
- Ensure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of high quality.
- Deliver completed code on time with minimal to no defects or failures, maintaining current unit test coverage standards or higher.
- Assist in maintaining code quality and enabling automation.
- Provide support to testing resources for defect remediation, answering questions, and assisting with automation tasks.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in object-oriented design and programming.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience in REST API development.
- Familiarity with Spring, JPA, Hibernate, RDBMS, PL/SQL, JDBC.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technology stacks like React JS and/or Angular is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD, Sonar integration, and Tomcat.
- Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
- Experience in delivering secure solutions in the Financial Services Sector is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, tools, and support multiple concurrent activities.
- Adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
