Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a user experience design project for a six-month duration, including insights, empathy mapping, and user journey mapping.
- Collaborate with user researchers, engineers, product managers, and visual designers to create effective designs.
- Design visually compelling assets and contribute to the creation of user journey maps and information architecture for applications.
- Conduct market research to gain insights into application markets.
- Perform ethnography studies and contextual inquiry to understand user perspectives.
- Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas with team members from UX and engineering.
- Create prototypes of varying fidelity (low, medium, and high) and write documentation for product definition.
- Review designs and prepare comprehensive reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Masters in Design program at a reputed institute (IIT/NID).
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in conceptual design, prototyping, tactical UI design, and the software development process.
- Design portfolio showcasing user experience projects for desktop, mobile, and web applications.
- Experience with sketching, mind maps, and storyboards for brainstorming.
- Ability to use metrics and user research data to influence design direction.
- Proficient in prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with desktop and cloud documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
