Qualcomm Off Campus Responsibilities:

• Works with the application development team and stakeholders to establish infrastructure requirements.
• Works with internal teams and vendors to procure the necessary HW/SW in accordance with the solution requirements and procurement, security, legal policies.
• Uses scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of design.
• Uses CI/CD best practices and tools to establish orchestration and pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of software services.
• Creates processes to monitor, collect, store, and analyze data to ensure that the release system is healthy, reliable, responsive, and secured.
• Coordinates and works with application owners, IT, and development teams to provide support and resolve escalations accordingly.
• Coordinates with and leverages offshore resources.

Qualcomm Off Campus Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with agile development methods, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Proficiency with Windows/Linux OS basics, CLI, scripting languages such as PowerShell/Python.
• Experience working with Jenkins automation and version control systems such as Git/Perforce.
• Basic networking and security (e.g., Firewall Ports, Proxy Servers, LB, DNS) sufficient enough to work with IT Network Engineers.
• Experience working with Containers/Container Orchestration.
• Experience working with setting up monitoring tools like Prometheus and Splunk.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code using tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience working with leading infrastructure vendors such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL and NoSQL stores such as ElasticSearch, MongoDB, AWS S3, etc. in an admin role.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture patterns and serverless architectures.
