Occupational Duties:
- Create and maintain automated software deployment pipeline solutions.
- To increase productivity, implement and perfect shared tools and solutions.
- Create standardised CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) process building elements.
- Address platform problems by looking into and fixing deployment failures.
- Provide open tooling and self-management training to empower development teams.
- Take part in IT discussions about current and upcoming developments that could have an influence on the CI/CD platform.
- To assure dependability and quality, incorporate tests and validations into the deployment process.
- Perform on-call tasks, such as responding to alarms during business hours and rotating on-call duty on weekends.
- Work together with developers to support ongoing issues and offer technical support.
- Needs qualification:
any stream for a bachelor’s and master’s degree.
Preferable abilities:
- strong knowledge with the containerization technologies Podman or Docker.
knowledge of the Linux and RHEL operating systems. - comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD principles and procedures.
knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
strong shell programming abilities in particular.
familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift 4.x as platforms for container orchestration.
Ansible automation framework knowledge is a bonus.
Jenkins pipeline knowledge is advantageous.
Knowledge of Drupal and PHP is preferred.
knowledge of cloud computing systems like AWS.
OpenStack infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
It helps to be familiar with or have an interest in the Golang programming language.
It is advantageous to be exposed to content delivery networks (CDNs), such as Akamai.
ability to support developers through daily obstacles and interact with them successfully.
