About SAIL:
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is an Indian state-owned steel-making company. It was founded on 19 January 1954 and has its headquarters in New Delhi. Mr. Anil Kumar Chaudhary serves as the CEO of SAIL. As a public sector undertaking, SAIL is owned and operated by the Government of India. The company is involved in the production of iron and steel at five integrated plants and three special steel plants, strategically located in the eastern and central regions of India.
Eligibility Criteria For SAIL Hiring For 2023:
- Trade Apprentices: Candidates should have completed ITI (Industrial Training Institute).
- Technician Apprentices: Candidates should have completed a Diploma in the relevant field.
- Graduate Apprentice: Candidates should have completed any degree in the relevant discipline.
Selection Process:
The selection process for Apprentices at SAIL will be based on a 100% Merit basis, considering 100% weightage of total aggregate marks secured in the ITI/Diploma/Degree.
