Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. Internship Experience: Prior internship experience in software quality assurance.
2. Methodologies and Processes: Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Test Planning: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
4. Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
5. Automation Tools: Knowledge of automated testing tools; familiarity with Selenium and Java is a plus.
6. SQL and Scripting: Understanding of SQL and scripting languages.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Review: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
2. Test Case Creation: Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
3. Testing Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
4. Automation Execution: Develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
5. Bug Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
6. Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
7. Process Implementation: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
8. Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
9. Quality Metrics: Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).
