Owning the end-to-end testing of the data pipeline and platform setup and establishing best practices.
- Creating the necessary automation library and framework as required and building automation tests.
- Ensuring the health of the platform by implementing necessary checks and balances.
- Taking responsibility for driving meetings, new initiatives, and innovation.
- Participating in day-to-day QA tasks.
- Conducting research on new test/validation technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to a team of SDET and Sr SDET, depending on the role.
- Encouraging and driving initiatives that promote innovation and technical excellence.
- Continuously seeking improvements in software development and testing processes.
Requirements for the position are as follows:
- B.E/B.Tech degree from Tier 1 & Tier 2 colleges.
- Experience in testing SaaS products with a clear understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB is advantageous.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Understanding of performance testing and experience with performance-related tools like JMeter or Gatling is preferred.
- Familiarity with Test Cycles Management tools like JIRA or relevant tools.
- Test strategy formulation, including decomposing business and technical requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation, and devising contingency plans.
- Experience testing Micro-services hosted platforms.
- Understanding of Kafka, GraphQL, and Redis concepts.
- Exposure to various development and testing tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
