Job Responsibilities For Standard Chartered Hiring For 2023:
- Take personal responsibility for upholding the highest ethical standards, including regulatory and business conduct, throughout Standard Chartered Bank. This involves ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct, both in letter and spirit.
- Lead efforts to achieve the outcomes outlined in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
- Collaborate effectively to identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or advanced (Master’s or higher) degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of retail banking, small business, or consumer finance products and their business life-cycles (e.g., sales, underwriting, portfolio management, marketing, collections).
- 0-2 years of in-depth experience in hands-on Statistical Modeling in credit risk for retail banking, small business, or consumer finance portfolios.
- Proficiency in statistical programming skills, preferably in SAS or a similar tool. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of quantitative and statistical analysis.
- Hands-on experience in data mining and identifying data patterns.
- Exposure to Business interaction and international markets will be advantageous.
