TCS Smart Hiring Off-Campus Eligibility Criteria:
Courses and Discipline: Full-time graduates from BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Biochemistry), B.Voc in CS/IT from the Batch of 2023 and 2024 are eligible.
Percentage: Minimum aggregate of 50% or above or equivalent CGPA in each of ‘Class 10th, Class 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation which includes successful completion of the final year/semester.
Batch: Students from the Batch of 2023 & 2024 are eligible.
Backlogs:
- Batch of 2023: No backlogs at the time of appearing for TCS Selection process.
- Batch of 2024: One active backlog at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process is permitted. However, it is mandatory that the course be cleared and completed within the stipulated time duration of the course without any backlogs to be eligible for joining in TCS if selected.
Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory for students to declare gaps in education, if any, in the TCS application form. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant document proof will be checked for gaps in education.
Extended education: The course should be cleared and completed within the stipulated time duration without any backlogs.
Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered. Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS are also eligible to apply if other courses are full-time.
Age: Minimum age – 18 years; Maximum age – 28 years.
Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience need to declare the same in the TCS application form and submit necessary documents supporting their experience during the TCS selection process.
Note: Eligibility will be checked at various stages. If found ineligible or data discrepancies, candidature will be disqualified.
Application Process for TCS Smart Hiring YoP 2024:
Step 1: Login to the TCS NextStep Portal.
Step 2: Verify details as per Aadhaar Card. Ensure correct details to avoid disqualification.
Step 3: Register and apply for TCS Smart Hiring.
- Scenario A: If registered, login and complete the application form. Click on ‘Apply for Drive’ upon submission.
- Scenario B: If a new user, register, choose category as ‘IT,’ fill details, submit the application form, and click on ‘Apply for Drive.’
Important: Ensure accuracy in the TCS application form (Academic Details, Internship, Work Experience).
Step 4: Select test mode (In-Centre) and preferred test centre. Click on ‘Apply.’ Test centre choice cannot be changed.
Step 5: Check status in ‘Track Your Application.’ Status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive.’
