Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement design patterns in code.
- Translate small behavior requirements into tasks and code.
- Understand how high-quality code can lead to rapid delivery.
- Write clean, maintainable code.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of domains and domain modeling.
- Seek out and use appropriate abstractions.
- Understand patterns for integration (events/services).
- Leverage existing functionality outside the immediate project.
- Understand the scope of the project and when to move behavior to other services.
Preferred Skills:
- Java; Spring Boot/Micronaut; Reactive programming (good to have); TDD/BDD; Kafka; Docker; Kubernetes; any Cloud (preferably Azure); CI/CD; any NoSQL DB.
- Good to have exposure to any load and performance test tool like Jmeter, Gatling, Locust, etc.
