Responsibilities for Candidates:
As a candidate for the Associate role at Wiley Edge, you will be responsible for the following:
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related STEM subject.
- Graduated or scheduled to graduate in 2021, 2022, or 2023.
- Maintain an academic aggregate of 60% or higher.
- Possess strong programming skills in Java, which is mandatory for this role.
- Competitive coding experience will be advantageous.
- Demonstrate solid software engineering principles, including knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and multithreading.
- Exhibit good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Have a working knowledge of database concepts, including SQL, stored procedures, and schema design.
- Understand the formal software development lifecycle (SDLC).
