Responsibilities for Candidates:
As a System Engineer at Wipro, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Incidents & Problems: You will be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting of incidents and problems reported by users. You will provide timely updates in the ticket logging tool to ensure efficient resolution.
- Desktop/Laptop OS Support: You will troubleshoot desktop and laptop operating system issues, ensuring smooth functioning of systems.
- Hardware and Software Support: You will be involved in the installation, re-installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems, printers, scanners, software, and applications. Additionally, you will handle e-mail client configuration and troubleshooting.
- Antivirus and Patch Management: You will install antivirus software on desktops and laptops, ensuring regular virus definition updates. You will also install approved patches on systems that have failed automatic updates.
- Virus Removal: In case of virus infections, you will be responsible for removing viruses from respective desktops and laptops.
- IMACs (Install, Move, Add, Change): You will handle IMAC requests that are pre-approved and low impact, involving the installation, movement, addition, and change of hardware or software.
- OS Builds: You will perform OS builds from approved images to ensure standardized system configurations.
