Qualifications

Position Description:

• Network Monitoring:
  • Experience with hardware and software issues (switches, routers, LAN, WAN).
  • Troubleshoot network outages and understand network logs.
  • Knowledge of small, medium, or large-scale network switches.
• Skills:
  • Mandatory: Linux server configuration, firewall setup, VPN setup, LAN, WLAN.
  • Experience with LAN (switching) and WAN (routing).
  • Understanding of VTP, Spanning Tree, STP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proficient with tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, WhatsUp Gold, and HPNA.
  • Basic understanding of UPS.

Responsibilities

• Plan the roll-out process and sequence of new systems and platforms.
• Prepare standard instructions and checklists for installation.
• Be customer-centric and provide a positive company image.
• Ensure work follows ITIL Incident Management guidelines.
• Follow the ticketing process according to defined change request phases.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to team environment.
• Achieve team and personal performance goals.
• Ensure timely acceptance and action on assigned tickets.
• Monitor open change tickets.
• Adhere to ISO9000 and ISO27001 procedures.
