Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security, and web standards.

Skills Required

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and other IT staff to manage code releases.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain and improve configuration management processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Implement and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Ensure the security of the infrastructure by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
• Support and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and release management.
